We’re getting married!

In early 2023 we were both on a quest to better ourselves. Rosie’s Cantina was our place to connect and get to know one another. A few flirtatious gestures towards one another here and there, followed by getting to know each other on a deeper level through daily gratitude messages. Sarah was a server working her way through college to become a radiologic technologist, and Blake (BK) was a grill cook destined to work his way up to management at the Cantina. One day they somewhat spontaneously finally decided to hang out together outside of work. They went on a hike at Wildwood Park. Blake fell out of a tree he was climbing to impress Sarah, later that day in a sudden moment they shared their last first kisses with one another. The rest is history. Both of them were very picky when choosing a partner, hence neither one of them had been in a relationship in over six years. The wait was well worth it!! They live, love, and do life together with God as the center of their love and as their anchor.

In January of 2024 Blake was scheduled to give his testimony publicly for the first time at The Mission of Mercy Church in Florence Alabama. Little did Sarah know, Blake had known for months that Sarah was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. He got the blessing from Sarah’s parents, and got a ring designed and ready to go. On that day in January, publicly before all of their friends and families, Blake popped the question. Needless to say Sarah said “Yes”! They share a puppy named Finn and a lot of love together. Soon they hope to buy a house together and use their experiences in life to help/lead others.
