Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

All of the festivities are at the All Inclusive Sandos Caracol Eco Resort! It will be easiest for you to stay here too and the package is reasonable and includes activities, food, cocktails and access to pools, fresh water cenotes and the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico! https://www.sandos.com/sandos-caracol/eco-all-inclusive-resort?utm_source=gmbcaracol&utm_medium=localmap

Question

What if I don't stay at the resort the wedding is taking place at?

Answer

You're welcome to stay somewhere else in Playa Del Carmen but you will have to pay a day use fee at the resort to celebrate our wedding. Since the resort fees are reasonable and all inclusive, we strongly recommend staying at the Sandos Caracol Resort with us.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, our dress code is dressed up beach attire: please wear linen pants, dress short, short-sleeved button downs, maxi dresses and sandals. It's going to be warm on the beach so dress accordingly.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please, let us know ASAP and we can make arrangements for the reception.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We are so excited that you will be joining us for our wedding day! There are many activities to do around the resort. We want everyone to enjoy the resort and their vacation at their own pace; feel free to have your own schedule on days that you are there. The Sandos Caracol Resort website highlights all of the amazing amenities. Please, see the schedule tab for information on the requested events on our wedding day, Sunday November 6th. We are planning an optional beach day the following day, so that we can all spend time together before we part ways. The wedding party is arriving Wednesday, Nov 2nd and leaving Friday Nov 11th, with the main events Friday the 4th through Monday the 7th. You are welcome to come whenever you can! On November 2nd, Día de los Muertos or Day of the Dead, the resort will have a big celebration!

Question

Do I bring my gift with me to Mexico?

Answer

We appreciate your support and celebrating with us in Mexico! You're welcome to bring a card for our special day if you feel compelled to. Please, mail gifts to our home or give them to us in person before or after our wedding. We won't be able to travel with extra items. All of the gift options on our registry will be automatically mailed to our home address. Thank you for thinking of us!
