We're getting married!

It all happened when Shan was in Charleston visiting her parents. Wanting the proposal to be memorable and special, Jin decided to fly down to South Carolina to surprise her and propose in front of the Pineapple fountain in Waterfront Park. With the help of her sister, he was able to swindle Shan to that spot but as luck would have it, the evening Jin wanted to propose was also prom night for the local high school. With everyone and their mother waiting to take prom photos in front of the fountain, coupled by the fact that the weather seemed to be taking a turn for the worse, Jin was certain this surprise engagement would not happen. Thankfully, Shan was running late and by the time she showed up, the weather cleared up and the prom crowd cleared out. As Shan was standing by the fountain, Jin popped out of the bushes to surprise her. With the ring box in one hand, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him; the rest is history.
