Bridget & Brandon met the summer of 2016 through mutual friends at a grill out. Brandon had just gotten a corgi puppy named Carl, who we consider to be our match maker. I mean, who can resist a fuzzy baby corgi?! After a couple social gatherings with friends, Brandon asked Bridget to come over for dinner, on behalf of Carl of course. We continued to casually date and get to know each other until Brandon got the courage to ask Bridget to officially be his girlfriend while on a December road trip to Chicago and the rest is history from there!

We were on vacation for Bridget's 30th birthday that started with friends and family in Las Vegas. After a few nights of fun in Vegas and ringing in a new decade on Freemont Street, we took off on a road trip to The Grand Canyon. The morning of February 19th, Bridget and Brandon had planned to hike the South Kaibab Trail into the Grand Canyon. The trails were more icy than we anticipated with the mild February temperatures. It made for a slow hike down to the beautiful Ooh Aah Point in the Grand Canyon. After getting to the lookout, we sat and took the remarkable views in. We decided to start the hike back up rather than going further due to the trail conditions and not having appropriate ice cleats. Shortly into our hike back up, Brandon pulled Bridget off on a little side area and got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. It was a beautiful day we will never forget!! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
