The dress code is cocktail attire with an elevated island resort feel. Think light, breathable fabrics and polished yet relaxed looks that suit Maui. Neutral tones, soft colors, and muted pastels photograph beautifully. Jackets are optional; ties are not required. For women: Cocktail dresses, skirts, or dressy jumpsuits work perfectly. Dressy sandals or flats are welcome. For men: Button-downs or polos with slacks or chinos are great options. Loafers, dress shoes, or clean sandals are welcome. Please avoid: Shorts, bright or neon colors, loud prints, black, denim, athletic wear, or casual beachwear.
Our primary recommendation is Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort, where all wedding events will take place. For guests looking for a more budget-friendly option, we also have a room block at the nearby AC Hotel by Marriott Maui Wailea. Some guests planning to extend their trip may choose to stay at the AC Hotel for part of their stay and then move to the Andaz for the wedding weekend to be close to all festivities. Both hotels are within one mile of each other.
Children are absolutely welcome to travel to and enjoy Hawaii with family during the wedding weekend. That said, for the ceremony itself, we’re planning to keep it primarily adults-only and won’t be able to accommodate babies or toddlers. We may allow limited flexibility for children ages 4 and older for immediate family. The ceremony will be fairly short and will transition directly into the reception.
We’ll have events starting Wednesday and continuing through Sunday. If you’d like to experience everything, we recommend arriving Wednesday and departing Monday. Otherwise, arriving by Thursday, August 6, and departing Sunday, August 9, will still allow you to enjoy the core weekend events.
Yes. Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. We recommend lightweight fabrics and comfortable footwear suitable for grass and stone pathways.
