Welcome Party!

Casual

Please allow us to welcome you to Houston by joining us at Skylab Social the evening before our wedding! Located in the Houston Buffalo Heights area, Skylab Social is a private outdoor venue with 1 pickleball court, lawn games, and plenty of seating. Kids welcome! Light bites and drinks will be provided. We will have drink tickets which can be exchanged for either 2 beers or 1 liquor beverage (you can have as many as you'd like, keeping in mind our wedding is the next day ;). Non-alcoholic beverages will NOT require a drink ticket. Parking is very limited so please carpool or rideshare (especially if you will be drinking) if you can. There is one small parking area next to the venue, otherwise you will have to street park. DO NOT park in the bank parking lot across the way, you will get fined or towed. If you have any questions about parking or how the drink tickets work, please ask :) We can't wait to party with everyone!

Ceremony and Reception

5:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Formal

All guests should plan to arrive by 4:45PM to grab your welcome champagne and find a seat. Please note, this is a brand-new venue so Maps may take you just past the venue entrance. If you arrive from the West and miss the turn-in, there is a business right past the entrance that you can make a left turn into to make your way back toward the venue. The easiest way to avoid missing your turn may be to route to Arrowhead Hill at The Lakota, which is connected to Aylin Acres, then take the connecting road to the Aylin Acres parking lot. 5PM: Marriage Ceremony 5:30 - 6:30PM: Pictures with the Brides and Cocktail Hour 6:30PM: Dinner 9:50PM: Start Moving to Outdoor Area Near Bridal Party Cottages for After Party Dinner will be a plated, set menu of steak and salmon and there will be an open bar. We're so excited to celebrate with you!

Trick-Or-Treating

Casual/Costume

Since Michelle's family will be traveling in with lots of little ones, we are planning to go Trick-or-Treating on Halloween. If you would like to join, please reach out to Michelle that day for information on time and place. For our delinquent friends, we will be happy to join you to party or go to Houston bars after we are done trick-or-treating with the kids :)
