We met at Cape Fear Valley Hospital where we both worked in the Patient Transportation Department. Ronnie was not my cup of tea at first (lol) but as we got to know each other and I saw how charming, caring, smart, and handsome he was, I knew that he was my person. ❤️

We came to the conclusion that we both wanted to get married so wedding planning started before the proposal (backwards right? Lol) but I told him that he still had to propose to me. So on 8/10/18 Ron told me to put some clothes on because he was taking me out to eat. We had a nice dinner at Texas Roadhouse (his favorite restaurant) then we headed back to his mom’s house, because she did us a huge favor by watching the kiddies while we had some alone time. Ronnie offers to open the car door for me and as I’m in mid sentence “Can you grab the plates...” I turn around and he’s down on one knee asking me to marry him! Although we had already planned to get married, this moment was very precious to me because the love of my life proposed to me in the most perfect setting with a very beautiful ring 😍
