"They attended Robert C. Hatch High as classmates. Tim had a few, select people that he hang around and Shamari had a select group of people that she hang around. They didn't have mutual friends so they never really talked much to each other. They would speak to each other throughout high school but they never pursued anything more than just being associates. Tim then moved away to Kentucky after their sophomore year and finished high school there. Shamari finished high school as well and went off to college."

"Shamari could never forget this day lol! She was residing in Huntsville, AL at the time. While she was outside with her dog, she received a Facebook message saying, "SHAMARIIII!" Of course she started laughing and wondering why was he sending her that message. Later on that day, she responded to the message. After that day, they exchanged phone numbers where they began to talk and text daily about anything. Tim had really good conversation and he was also attractive. He had recently got out of a long-term relationship about a year prior. Ultimately, Shamari did not want to pursue him at that time because she had also got out of a long-term relationship and she wasn't ready to just dive back in. Tim and Shamari agreed to be just friends. During that time of being friends, they noticed of how much they had in common. Their life goals were similar. They are both believers of God. They watched movies like Harry Potter, Twilight, & The Avengers lol. Tim and Shamari were basically tired of looking for love in the wrong people. These were two people with big hearts, calm spirits, and full of love to offer. 5 months had passed and Tim's birthday was approaching. Their friendship had really gotten deep. Shamari had never been this comfortable around a man that she could talk to about anything with no judgement. It was weird to her in the beginning but she was intrigued by Tim's characteristics and personality. The night of Tim's birthday, they both decided to try this love thing once again and make it official as a couple."

"Tim had planned for the two of them to go to Gatlinburg, TN for Valentine's Day. He called Shamari about a week before their trip and told her that his job was not going to let him take off work even though he had requested those days off weeks in advance. Luckily, he was able to cancel his reservations. Shamari was so upset because it had been quite some time since they took a trip together and she was looking forward to spending time together. Eventually, she apologized because she could not hold him responsible for something that he had no control over. On Valentine's Day, Shamari received flowers at her job from Tim. She knew he was trying to make her feel better (SWEET)! Fast forward to that weekend, they were at her grandmother's 75th birthday party. She had no idea what was planned despite the fact that Tim had already talked to her family about the proposal. Her family did a really good job of hiding the excitement from her. Tim decided to give a speech on the mic and told Shamari to come stand beside him. Next thing everyone knows, he started talking about God, Shamari was boo-hoo crying like a baby, and he kneels down on one knee!! SURPRISE, she said 'Yes" of course lol.
