When Shamar and I first met it was the first day back from Christmas break. So everyone had new classes and saw new faces like it was the first day going to a new school. As soon as we locked eyes it was like we instantly knew we were going to be each others soulmates. When the last bell rang, we were not expecting to be in the same class but somehow we were. As the day when on we kept making eye contact and having conversations every time we saw one another. Until one day he made the move to ask for my number. We went on a few dates and then he finally asked me to be his girlfriend on May 25, 2013

This was a Sunday morning and we were getting ready for church as usual. This particular Sunday it felt a little off like he was hiding something from me (which he was lol). So as the day went by he was acting very weird and nervous. After church he asked me if I wanted to take our son Peyton to the park in Thomasville and I was all for it because he loves the park. So instead we went to this beautiful neighborhood by a lake. He let me get out of the car first. So I walked towards the lake to see the water and when I turned around to see what was taking him so long to get Peyton out of the car he was on one knee and I burst into tears. He said " You've been a wonderful girlfriend but that time is up. Will you marry me?" and of course I said YESSSSS!!!!!!
