Maddy and Shalini love spending all of their time together and are truly soul sisters. They have endured and grown through so much over the years. They have always talked about their future weddings together, and Shalini absolutely cannot wait to have Maddy there with her on the most special day of her life. There is no one else Shalini can imagine as her Maid of Honor!

Katie is one of Shalini's closest friends and college roommates. Katie is unfailingly there for Shalini and their friendship has blossomed in their short time knowing each other. From car rides talking about each important thing in their lives to laughing about the silliest things, Shalini can always count on Katie to be there without question. Katie inspires Shalini and Shalini is thrilled to have her as a bridesmaid.

Sarah is easily the one person Shalini became friends with faster than she ever has with anyone. Even though they met through Tim, their relationship has grown to be so strong. They’ve truly become sisters and have a deep love and respect for each other. Shalini is so grateful for Sarah. Sarah is extremely thoughtful, loving and a fierce defender of her family. It makes Shalini incredibly happy to know that she will get to be sisters with Sarah for eternity. Shalini admires the kind of wife, daughter and sister Sarah is and looks up to her so much.

Alexis was Shalini's first ever best friend. She has been by her side through countless moments over the years, and has been with Shalini through all the crazy phases of life. Time has shown that they can’t really ever be separated. Shalini is grateful to have a sister like Alexis who can always be forthcoming and honest with her. Ashleigh and Shalini met in Los Angeles while Shalini was a freshman at UCLA. Ashleigh and Shalini share a sincere admiration for each other and Ashleigh is one of the most consistent people in Shalini's life. Ashleigh has always inspired Shalini to take important steps towards her goals and dreams and Shalini considers her to be one of the most important people in her life. Shalini is beyond grateful for her and cannot wait to marry her eternal companion with a friend like Ashleigh by her side.

Mikayla and Shalini were doubles tennis partners in high school. Aside from being an absolute fashion icon and having the most killer dance moves, Mikayla has always been so supportive and loving in her friendship with Shalini. She is one of the first people Shalini tells about each exciting moment that happens in her life and is also always there when Shalini needs a shoulder to cry on. She is a beam of light and Shalini is so grateful for her.

Chloe (PAPI) is truly one of the most genuine and kind-hearted people Shalini has ever met. Shalini admires Chloe is more ways than she can count. Chloe is one of the most sincere friends that Shalini has ever had. She is always encouraging Shalini and is unfailingly by her side. Having Chloe in her life has brought Shalini so much support and comfort, and Shalini cannot wait to party it up with Chloe at her wedding.

Amora and Shalini have been friends since kindergarten and Amora has always been someone that Shalini admires so dearly. LIke in her name, Amora has nothing but love for her friends. Amora walks with an abundance of grace in her life and is such a strong example to Shalini of being true to yourself. Shalini is overjoyed at having Amora by her side on this special day.
Riley Lenaway

Riley and Tim met in 5th grade, where they were both such giant nerds that they tested out of regular school and built 10 foot long paper airplanes instead (it would've flown if we added structural elements). He's been Tim's best friend for 12 years; Tim would do anything for the guy. He's always had Tim's back, but isn't afraid to call him out if needed. He is the GOAT intramural teammate and wingman. When they're not together, he's one of the few people Tim thinks to call when something significant happens in his life. He's the kind of guy you can argue extensively with about the statistical probabilities of random events. He's also always there to talk to when life gets tough. Tim's 17 children will know him as Uncle Riley from the cabin in Mammoth that they meet up in every year.
Bryson Foster

Bryson has been ruining Tim's life since 2003. His 18 years of life have *almost* convinced Tim that he is not, in fact, a complete waste of space. Nearly offsetting his many terrible traits is his kindness towards Shalini, insane Valorant skills, acceptable music taste, general wholesomeness, sandwich boy capabilities, and his above average intelligence. He went on a week-long road trip with Tim in 2019 and consumed many meat sticks and almost didn't fail at hiking, during which he gained much of Tim's respect. All jokes aside, love you bro, you're the best.
Greyson Beck

When Greyson isn't helping Tim hunt bears (with throwing knives) he's busy being an all around stand up gent. He's from Arizona, but don't hold that against him, he's actually quite intelligent. Tim and Greyson met at UCLA during Junior year, and together, they've attempted to keep Riley in check ever since, with varying degrees of success. Loves the outdoors, has a great sense of humor, and will probably end up as Phoenix's billionaire mayor. One of those genuine, true friends that don't come around all that often.
Shravan Patel

Tim and Shravan met in Hedrick Summit in the year 2020. Tim used to give him advice on premed stuff, but soon realized that Shravan is the ultimate premed and will be getting a full ride to Stanford if he doesn't fail PhySci 111B. More importantly, Shravan is an amazing brother and son. He showed Tim, just by being himself, the standard required to be a man in the Patel family. He's also incredibly yoked and would probably become Beverly Hill's most sought after personal trainer if he wasn't a lock for Stanford med, as noted above. Yerrr
Jared Gage

Tim met Jared in 2019, when Jared had just finished serving a two year mission preaching the gospel of Christ to the people of Russia. He is a computer wizard, especially when it comes to photoshop, and the funniest guy that Tim knows. He's an incredibly hard worker in all aspects of his life. He's shredded, and is the only groomsman who could take Shravan in a fight. Jared is the "there at 2 AM" kinda friend, and always comes through. He might do something really nice for you, but always anonymously, and doesn't look to take credit.
Brad Gardner

Brad is potentially Tim's greatest rival, but only when Sarah's around. Behind the chiseled jaw and dashing good looks, there's a kind, humble, and honest man. He takes care of Tim's sister, and treats her right, which is one of the greatest gifts he can give to Tim. He's also a LAX BRO and might try to teach you how to cradle if you don't find an excuse to end the conversation first. Is really bad at “The Game”, and is usually the first one to lose. Life's goal is to fulfill his dream of returning to Welk Resort San Diego and working as a food and beverage attendant at mountain springs until retirement. Either that or medical school. It's a toss-up.
Jack Grantham

Jack and Tim have been good friends since middle school, and if Tim wasn't getting married, he'd probably be moving to yeehaw country with Jack. He has always been an example to Tim of a guy who makes God a priority in his life. Jack is always up for a wild time, especially if it involves mountains, sports, or food. He was the Varsity quarterback during high school and is known by Tim and all of his friends as JackTheQB. The kind of guy you can always count on.
Scott Rowan

Tim and Scott met during their first year at UCLA—Tim for undergrad, Scott for Law. Despite Alma chapter 10, Scott is an absolutely killer dude. He was Tim's first ministering companion at UCLA, general life advice giver, and dear friend. He's the kind of guy who you can always give a call to and ask the "dumb" questions. He also does casual 20 mile bike rides without breaking a sweat, but will never take credit for being the perfect athlete (except on Strava). The kind of guy you look up to.
Seth Watkins

Seth and Tim met in 2019, when Seth had just finished serving a two year mission preaching the gospel of Christ to the people of Argentina and Paraguay (but mostly Argentina). He is good at basically every sport. He is extremely intelligent, and a future engineer. He is currently our church's Sunday school president, and a good teacher. He loves mountains and intense hikes, and is the first friend Tim has had whose hiking ability and walking speed puts Tim to shame. He loves football (real football) and will never stop trying to convince Tim to abandon his beloved Liverpool and become a Brentford fan. He has extensive Marvel knowledge, and will always do your dishes, sometimes against your wishes. He is a dedicated fan of UCLA athletics and an even more dedicated friend.
