Our story began with a match on December 2nd, 2019 - a moment that felt like the beginning of God's plan for us. Shalet was in Texas with her parents, praying for direction and purpose. Arun was in Connecticut, working as a Software Engineer and living a steady life. When we started talking, it didn't feel like chance - it felt like God aligning two hearts in His perfect timing. We spent our first year long distance between Texas and Connecticut, getting to know each other without ever meeting in person. Then Shalet moved to Boston for her Master's degree in Behavioral Science, and we finally met face-to-face - right in the middle of a pandemic. Even with the world turned upside down, God kept our connection strong. Life brought more transitions. Shalet graduated and began her career as a Behavioral Specialist. Arun moved back home to New Jersey. Eventually, Shalet moved to New Jersey too, trusting God's guidance and believing in our love. Through every change, every prayer, and every challenge, we learned to lean on faith and on each other. After nearly six years of long distance and growth, Arun proposed - and it felt like stepping into the future God had been preparing for us all along. As we look forward to June 27, 2026, we know our story is a testimony to God's faithfulness and perfect timing.
