Stuck in quarantine, in the absence of friends and very little interactions, Chris and Shay met on facebook where that led to exchanging phone numbers to start playing iPhone games. From iPhone games they had an instant connection that led them to texting all day to falling asleep on the phone. It felt like an electric current that seemed to flow between them. For their first date, Chris planned a romantic drive through the Rocky Mountains during sundown, when he had found a beautiful scenic spot to have their first meal together (Chick-fil-A). Their love story has been full of passionate encounters, deep connections, ups and downs, challenges, unexpected twists, and unwavering devotion, but these moments of growth have truly defined their love for one another. On September 28, 2024 Chris proposed to Shay in the backyard of the Deherrera’s Green landmark full of beautiful flowers. It was breathtaking. Of course Shay, said “ YES”!! On July 16, 2025 they will get married. As they stand on the threshold of their wedding, they can’t help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for what’s to come. Their love story has been filled with countless beautiful moments, but they believe the best is yet to come! With that being said, Chris and Shay cannot wait to celebrate with you!!
