Matron of Honor
Shalan knew they were going to be best friends as soon as they met. They were college roommates who shared the same love for Disney movies. After countless nights staying up and watching her collection of Disney VHSs and two trips to Disney World together, I think it's safe to say they'll be best friends for life.
Best Man
Best friend and travel buddy, there aren't many friends who have traveled together as much as Tyler and Matthew. They have gone to New York, Mexico multiple times, and Las Vegas numerous times. If he doesn't have a big goofy smile on his face, he needs another drink.
Bridesmaid
Sarah is Shalan's "wild one." We knew of each other long before we met or became best friends. But, that one night giggling in the back of a van on the way to a haunted house and now we're bonded for life. Shalan cannot count the number of nights they have spent dancing together. Sometimes you just need to keep a red head on speed dial (or two but who's counting, right?).
Groomsman
Toryn and Matthew's friendship goes back to 2004 where they met at a church youth group. Their mutual passion for soccer and golf has been a focal point in their friendship. If you get a chance, ask one of their parents about how many things were broken wrestling in the house back in the day. If you ever golf with him, watch out for flying clubs.
Bridesmaid
Sister of the bride. Shalan's only sibling, her "baby girl." Her hubby has said they are the same person. If you watch closely, you'll see their mannerisms are the same.
Groomsman
Xavier and Matthew are cousins. They grew up in the Milwaukee area together sharing a passion for soccer and music. Although Matthew doesn't have any brothers, Xavier is the closest thing to a brother. Ask Xavier who the "old school FIFA champion is."
Bridesmaid
Sister of the groom. Sabrina is Sassy's (Shalan and Matthew's puppy) favorite Auntie. She also doubles as their holiday decorating connoisseur.
Groomsman
Brad and Matthew go back to 2004 where they also went to the same church youth group. Brad, Toryn, and Matthew were somewhat of a trio back in high school. They spent a lot of time together, mostly goofing around and ganging up on each other. If you see him with his shirt off, please tell him to put it back on.
Bridesmaid
Can you count the level of friendship you have with someone by the number of countries you have been to together? Four countries down, 191 to go.
Groomsman
Mike and Matthew met through many mutual friends and have become close through their passion for Wisconsin sports. They have also traveled together as part of "the Vegas crew." If you catch him with one eye open, he just might be asleep.
Bridesmaid
Sister of the groom. Out of everyone who was excited to see Shalan and Matthew getting married, I think Destiny was the most excited.
Groomsman
Cody and Matthew's friendship grew from their passion of soccer, well passion for anything you can compete in if you know them well. They were fortunate enough to live and work together for a year before Cody moved to Chicago. If you meet Cody, prepare to have a very nice, very long conversation.
