Is there a hotel room block for the wedding?
Answer
There is a room block at Prairie Band Casino & Resort and you need to call and speak with Chele (Shelly) at 785-966-7742.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive between 4:00-4:15 to ensure you don’t miss the ceremony!!
Question
Will alcohol be served?
Answer
Yes there will be alcohol served equipped with a bartender that the casino is providing. There will be a bar located in the reception area that will be cash or credit. If you are staying at the hotel, you are welcome to bring whatever alcohol to your room but it can not be brought to the casino floor or reception area.

Are children okay to bring to the ceremony & reception?
Answer
Yes, the wedding is children friendly. We do need to know if you are planning on bringing children so we can add them to the guest list. Keep in mind that we are having the ceremony and reception at a casino, where children are not allowed on the actual casino floor without being escorted.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
To ensure we have ordered the correct amount of food and with it being ordered per person, we need to have a head count. Please RSP by June 30th, 2025. Thank you

Indoors for sure!! April doesn’t do the heat!!

What type of food will you be serving at your wedding?
Answer
We are having a taco and fajita bar with several different meat options and all of the fixings!

Are we registered anywhere?
Answer
There is a registry on our Zola Website that also includes a few things from an Amazon list.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 1850 SW Prairie Rd Topeka KS 66604. There will be a wedding card box at our reception. We have created a registry that can also be found on our Zola website!

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
Answer
We are hoping to have no more than a 30 minute gap between the ceremony and the reception. We will have most of our pictures done before the ceremony.
Question
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding ceremony?
Answer
We would like for our ceremony to be unplugged and want our guest to enjoy the ceremony without distractions.

Am I able to post picture on social media?
Answer
We are asking everyone to please wait to post pictures on social media until the married couple has time to make the first post.
