It all began when Jake was 15 and he started working for a company called R&S Property Services. Even after he graduated high school and college, Jake would be invited back to complete odd jobs because of his work ethic and the friendships he made. Izzy began working at R&S as a part time employee in March of 2022. By the end of the summer, Ryan, the owner, had offered her a full-time position AND claimed that he had found her a boyfriend. She was surprised by this set-up, but was excited to meet the guy that was promised to be perfect for her. On October 21, 2022, Jake was invited back again to R&S. This time he wouldn’t be working. . . he would be there to meet his future wife at a company party! Like the start of any romantic comedy movie, both Izzy and Jake were too awkward to say more than two words to each other until the end. When the party was over, Jake offered to help Izzy carry some boxes back to her car. This brief encounter ultimately led to their very first date. One date snowballed into two, three, four, and a lifetime more! Now the awkwardness of the first time Jake and Izzy met is the foundation of their love that grew into a strong and stable relationship. Needless to say, they are both excited for what the future holds and are extremely grateful that Ryan brought them together!
