One of America's greatest national parks is 45 minutes away from Longmont. Be sure to plan ahead for entry times. The hike to Emerald Lake is one of Shakeel's favorite memories from a 2018 family visit to Colorado.

A Longmont institution. The food is great, the beer is fine.
Juniper Goods
Shakeel's favorite cup of coffee in Longmont. The website looks like a clothing store, but it's mostly a cafe. Includes baked goods.
Dry Land Distillers
Shakeel's favorite place to get a cocktail. The first Regenerative Organic Certified distillery in the United States. Locally owned, water-wise spirits made from plants that grow in the desert. Don't drink? Get a non-alcoholic cocktail -- they are excellent, not afterthoughts.

Firehouse Art Center
A cute art gallery in a former firehouse. Also does great community events!
Retail Therapy Vendor Market
Krista has a booth here selling vintage clothes and knickknacks, and there are a variety of other sellers if you're looking for a fun flea market shopping experience.

Krista loves books, and this is her favorite book store. Locally owned used and new books.

Longmont's newest bookstore. They also have chocolate and stationery.

A used book/record/etc. store, great if you want to dig through stacks of ephemeral media and find treasure.
