What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 5pm sharp, so we kindly ask that you arrive by 4:45pm to settle in comfortably. After the ceremony concludes, we'll transition directly into cocktail hour and reception, all taking place at The Terrace at Delaware Park.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your children, we respectfully request no children at our wedding. This allows all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Absolutely! If your invitation is addressed to you alone, please don't hesitate to reach out—we'd be delighted to accommodate a plus one for the evening. Just be sure to indicate their attendance when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Since most of our guests are local to the Buffalo area, we didn't reserve a hotel block. We encourage you to book accommodations wherever you'll feel most comfortable.

Yes, we're delighted to offer an open bar for all our guests, with complimentary drinks available throughout the celebration.

We'd love for you to dress to impress in formal or cocktail attire. Our Kurdish guests are warmly encouraged to wear traditional attire if they'd like—we'd be honored to celebrate with you in your cultural dress!

Should rain occur, we've reserved the entire property, allowing us to seamlessly move the ceremony indoors while keeping all celebrations on schedule.

Absolutely! We've planned several wonderful events surrounding our wedding day, and we'd love for you to join us. You'll find a complete schedule with all the details on our website. One highlight we're especially excited to share is the Halparke, a traditional Kurdish line dance that's central to our celebration. We would be honored to have you participate! It's a beautiful expression of togetherness, love, equality, and unity.
