It all started from an inbox message on Facebook from Kendrick saying, "GM. Still looking good." Although, we grew up in the same city, we never crossed paths. However, we had been Facebook friends forever. He told me he wanted to take me on a date and I asked, "You aren't going to ask for my number?" His response was, "You will give it to me when you are ready." The Game had begun.......

I was told that we would be going to brunch with my friend and her husband. We picked a restaurant called The Clutch. We get to The Clutch and my friend and her husband were already there. They had 2 tables pushed together and was like, "oh, these were the only tables, so let us pull them apart, since its only four of you." Meanwhile, after sitting down, my best friend whispers to me and tells me she thinks she has started her period, so would I walk behind her to the bathroom so she could check. I head to the restroom with her and while in the bathroom, I hear the song Unthinkable, by Alicia Keys. I tell my friend, hey girl, hurry up that's me and Kendrick's song. I was ready to head back out to Kendrick, but when I walked out it was an awkward silence and everyone was looking my way, so I assumed I was walking in front of someone's birthday entrance, so I attempted to hurry past and I finally looked up and saw a banner with pictures of me and Kendrick and it said...Keisha....do you think we can do the Unthinkable! I looked past the banner to look for Kendrick and saw him on stage on one knee and then it all came rushing to me that the awkward silence was for me...lol...everyone was waiting for me to notice that this was all for me. Everyone begin to clap once I realized it was for me and I begin to walk towards the stage. And guess what, the people holding the banner were my friends that I had no idea were there. The restaurant was in on it and knew that my other friends were there that's why the tables were connected. All and all it was beautiful! I was sweating bullets and shaking like a leaf. Its obvious that I said yes, because here we are... :-)
