Flight
Mexico City has two airports, but we highly recommend flying in to Mexico City International Airport (MEX), aka Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez! It is closer with more flight options. San Diego friends: We encourage you to book your flight out of TIJ via Cross Border Xpress (CBX). Flights are considerably less expensive, and it could not be easier. Hotel
This is where we will be staying Friday-Sunday! The hotel itself has great amenities including a gym, spa and multiple restaurants. It is within walking distance of shopping, museums and the park (Chapultepec) as well as a quick Uber to our favorite neighborhoods to explore, Roma Norte and Condesa. Mexico City has amazing AirBnbs to choose from! If you are traveling for longer than the weekend, or just prefer a unique stay, there are plenty to choose from.
