We would always make eye contact while walking to class by the tennis courts. The date before he asked me to be his girlfriend was at Buffalo’s on Valentine’s Day—when we were saying goodnight he asked “will you be my girlfriend?” And I replied with “sure”. Then the years passed by, four to be exact, and he finally popped the question in our first apartment. We were both so excited (and still are) to finally become one!
