Wander around Balboa Park, see the beautiful architecture of the museums, smell the roses in the rose garden, head to the zoo, eat at The Prado (or hit up one of the restaurants nearby like Cucina Urbana, Bankers Hill Restaurant and Bar, and Il Dandy).
Check out the food stalls at Liberty Public Market and all that Liberty Station has to offer (including Stone Brewery, right across from LPM).
My neighborhood!
Some of the best views of San Diego from the 40th floor
Great area to walk around, little shops, walk further down towards the Midway Museum and the pier.
Coronado beach was voted the #1 beach in America 3 years in a row. Great beach to hang out at and you can rent chairs and umbrellas. Have a drink, lunch or ice cream at the famous Hotel Del.
