I said YES!!!
The very first time I saw Shailon she was mesmerizing. When she spoke, it was like hearing an Angel that had authority in her voice. I always thank Jehovah for letting our paths cross multiple times.
We met at Blue Cross Shield Cafeteria. I was on the insurance side and Nate was a Chef at the dining facility. Nate always made my ham and mushroom omelettes just right for breakfast. He would also make my chicken, mushroom, garlic and spinach calzones just right for lunch. At that time, the conversation was strictly from a "Foodie's" and Chef's perspective. I later moved on to work at a different company. Fast forward a few years, we reconnected while shopping at Walmart. I told Nate I was planning my daughter's Sweet 16 Birthday Party for October that year and if he knew any Vendors and if he knew a dance coordinator. We exchanged phone numbers and started communicating more about the party. Eventually he told me that he knew how to dance and I asked him to coordinate a dance routine for everyone in the Sweet 16 Court. We have been friends ever since then. Eventually, we started dating and the rest, as they say, is history.
