Our families have known each other forever and we grew up together! From summers at the campground to Friday nights at the bowling alley, we always crossed paths. When we were younger, we "dated". You know, the way 12-year-olds used to date with the hand holding, walking laps around the campground and one perfect little smooch. Although he broke up with me to "ride solo" back then and our lives went separate ways, we reconnected on Facebook. He'll swear that he sent the first message, but I am pretty positive it was me that sent him a message about a car he had painted. We started talking every day and the rest is history! Here we are, three years later with the most perfect little girl and planning our forever together!

Everyone was hanging around the campsite one beautiful Saturday afternoon. Brandon kept insisting I take Maggie and Andrew for a walk around the campground. I kept delaying the walk because it was hot, and I was tired! Why did he want me to go for a walk so bad? So off we go, Maggie, Andrew and I for a long walk around the campground. Maggie makes us go the long way and I am beat. We turn the corner to where the playground is and I see EVERYONE standing there in a line...instant panic! Everyone moves apart and there is Brandon on one knee, holding the most beautiful ring I have ever laid eyes on. He told me "Ellie and I want you to be a Baillargeon" as his hands are shaking and his eyes are full of tears. I was so in shock I could barely get out my "yes!"
