We request guests dress in formal / black tie optional attire. This allows guests the flexibility to dress formally without the strict requirement of a full black tie ensemble. This is a guideline, not a requirement. We want you to look good and feel your best and if that means opting for something less dressed up we understand! The following is a general guide for the formal code: Ladies have the choice of wearing a floor-length gown, a cocktail dress, or a dressy separates ensemble. Gentleman can opt for a traditional tuxedo or a suit and tie for a polished, elevated look. For a more relaxed look opt for a button down and dress pants, steering away from items such as jeans. We look forward to seeing what everyone picks out and will welcome you with open arms, whatever you decide!
We’ve chosen to register with Amazon as we love the “contribution” option they offer. We don’t want any of our friends or family to feel pressured to gift or overwhelmed by prices and felt this was the best option. We’re just as happy to receive a hand written note or congratulatory text and don’t want anybody to feel as though we expect anything other than your shared joy in this celebration.
Doors will open around 1:30, and we would suggest arriving before 1:50.
While there should be signage on site to direct you, we understand that the paths can be confusing and want to help if possible! When you arrive, pass the green house on the left and take the left path where the road splits (AWAY from the Big Creek Lodge). Continue down this trail until you reach a split between two buildings. Park in the parking lot of your choosing. The ceremony will be held in the upper building and the reception will be held in the lower.
We will have gluten free options available but do not currently have plans for other dietary restrictions. If this is something you’ll need please reach out as soon as possible so we can do our best to create accommodations for you!
Due to the intimate setting and limited seating we have to limit the number of additional guests allowed on site. If your invite does not list an additional guest we unfortunately do not have the accommodations for one. We have done our best to make sure the seating charts accommodate our guests where they will be most comfortable and will have various entertainment options for those who would rather sit down and play than get up and dance.
