FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all of the kids in our lives, we have decided to keep our wedding ceremony and reception to an adults-only event. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Plus ones are therefore by invitation only and we ask other guests to please not bring a plus one.

Question

Is there any transportation provided?

Answer

Yes! We have arranged for a shuttle to pick up guests at each of the hotels to transport them to the venue. The shuttles will also provide transportation back to the hotels every hour starting at 8 pm. If you choose to drive straight to the venue and take a shuttle home, you will be responsible for finding transportation back to your vehicle the next day. The shuttle service is for the night of the wedding only!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We recommend garden party attire! Example: sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, khakis. This is more of a semi-formal type of dress code. The bridal party will be in a light blue color. Absolutely NO white dresses, jumpsuits, rompers, etc. You will be asked to change if you come wearing white. :)

Question

Are there any hotel blocks?

Answer

Yes! We have blocked off rooms at two hotels. One is Comfort Inn and Suites located at 1 Center Drive, North East, MD 21901, and the other is Holiday Inn and Express located at 101 Hotel Plaza, North East, MD 21901. In order to reserve one of these rooms, you will need to contact either hotel and book a room with the Boyer/Brouse Wedding. All hotel rooms are at a discounted rate, but each guest is responsible for booking and paying for their own room.

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

RSVPs MUST be in by April 4, 2025. Anyone who has not responded by that date will be marked as a 'no'. Due to final numbers being due to our vendors, we will not be able to accommodate anyone who RSVPs 'yes' after the deadline.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Probably one of the most important questions....but yes! There will be an open bar with beer, wine, and spirits. Everyone will be ID'd before receiving their first drink.

For all the days along the way
