Question

How many days should I plan to stay?

Answer

We recommend staying for at least 3 nights. That said, we’ll be in Gouna for 7 nights — from November 4th to 11th — and we’d love to spend as much time as possible with you!

Question

When is it best to arrive and leave?

Answer

We’ll be in Gouna from November 4th to 11th. The rest is completely up to you — join us for as long (or short) as you like!

Question

What’s the best way to get to Gouna from Belgium?

Answer

You can fly directly from Belgium to Hurghada — TUI offers direct flights. From Hurghada Airport, it’s about a 35-minute taxi ride to Gouna. Most hotels also offer shuttle services to make the transfer even easier.

Question

Do I need a visa to travel to Egypt?

Answer

Most travelers will need to either buy a visa on arrival at Hurghada Airport or apply for an e-visa online before your trip. The cost is approximately €25. Both options are quick and straightforward.

Question

What’s the weather like in November in Gouna?

Answer

November in Gouna is warm and sunny, with daytime temperatures around 25–28°C and cooler evenings around 18–20°C. It’s the perfect weather for both beach time and evening celebrations.

Question

Are there recommended hotels in Gouna?

Answer

Yes! We’ve included a list of recommended hotels on the site. Gouna is quite small and very easy to get around, so wherever you choose to stay, you’ll be close to us.

Question

Can I book an Airbnb instead of a hotel?

Answer

Absolutely. If you prefer a more private stay, there are plenty of great Airbnb options in Gouna. Just make sure it's within Gouna’s main area so you're close to everything.

Question

Is Gouna easy to get around?

Answer

Very! El Gouna is small, safe, and easy to navigate. Whether you stay in a hotel or Airbnb, you’ll be close to us and everything else. Pink Tuk-tuks and (cheap) taxis are always available if you need them.

Question

What events are planned around the wedding day?

Answer

We’ll be sharing all the event details starting in October — so stay tuned!

Question

What should I wear to the wedding? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Definitely no swimwear or flip-flops! It’s a beach wedding, but we’d love to see everyone dressed to impress — think elegant dresses and sharp suits with a relaxed, summery vibe.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

It will be outdoors — a beachside wedding! Don’t worry, you won’t have to walk on sand unless you want to. The setup will be elegant and comfortable for everyone.

Question

What’s the best way to stay in touch or get updates?

Answer

Starting October, we’ll create a WhatsApp community to share updates and stay in touch with everyone directly. In the meantime, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us personally — we’re happy to help!

Question

Are you accepting gifts?

Answer

Your presence is truly the greatest gift — we don’t expect anything more. But if you’d like to offer something, we’d be thrilled if you contributed to our honeymoon fund. We’re heading to South Africa for an unforgettable adventure, and your support will go toward experiences we’ll cherish forever.
