It was 2020, peak COVID, and we were both swiping on Tinder. After months of Maddie’s excuses, we finally met in person.. on a fishing date..yes, really (let me tell you. Never will I let Alaska meet some random man who lives a hour away in some small farm town and let them take her fishing at his families river bottoms. Crazy.) But, Somehow everything just worked. We spent the next four days together and never looked back. We both have found the person that just makes life so much better.
