We met through mutual friends, who planned a day out at the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival! We met and got to know each other over turkey legs and exciting jousting competitions! We wandered the festival for hours joking and enjoying our time together. And to this day it is one of our favorite fall activities!

In 2013 Ian was set to be a groomsman in his good friends wedding. He could bring a guest, and so we had our first date set! Part of his groomsman responsibilities was to walk guests down the aisle to their seats. When I arrived at the venue I saw Ian looking very handsome in his suit, and he kindly walked me down the aisle! Who would have guessed that 5 years later he would do the same thing again, only this time it will be in the opposite direction, and we will have just become husband and wife!
