FAQs

Question

How do we get to the venue?

Answer

Off of highway 20, you will turn onto Erickson Rd (the last road on the south end of town) and head 1km east until you reach the Lions Ball Park, otherwise known as the Strasbourg Sports Park or the rodeo grounds. You should see a sign on your way out of town that says “Ball Diamonds - 1km”. We will also have wedding signage posted on that day.

Question

Where can we stay?

Answer

If you are open to it, there will be space for people to park RVs, campers, or tents right at the event site. If you're not a camper, there are hotels in Craven, Lumsden, and Regina, as well as a variety of Airbnbs to rent closer to the lake.* * Note: If you book by the lake, make sure you are on the Saskatchewan Beach (east) side, NOT the Regina Beach (west) side. There is no way to cross the lake, so if you're in Regina Beach, you'll have to take the long way around.

Question

How will we get home?

Answer

A driver will be available to provide rides for guests staying within a 30km radius of the venue. For those travelling from farther away, we kindly ask that you arrange safe transportation home in advance. We also encourage guests to consider accommodations near or on the venue grounds to make the evening as easy and enjoyable as possible. Your safety means the world to us, and we can’t wait to celebrate together.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly request an adults-only celebration, with the exception of children from our immediate family. This will allow our guests to fully relax and enjoy the festivities. Please note that we recommend arranging childcare for the evening, and any children present should depart by 11pm due to the potential for more mature music selections later in the night.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all of our loved ones, we kindly request that you only bring the guests specifically named on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding as we carefully plan our special day.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled so that we can begin promptly at the scheduled time.
