Frind Winery is a place we’ve always loved for its amazing pizza, great wine, and lakeside atmosphere. It became even more special to us when we got engaged there. Some of our other favourite wineries include Black Swift, The Hatch, Crown and Thieves, & Niche Wine Co.
One of Kelowna’s most iconic hikes, Knox Mountain offers incredible panoramic views of Okanagan Lake and the city below. The trail starts just minutes from downtown and winds through pine forest up to scenic lookouts. Difficulty: easy to moderate. Some of our other favourite hiking spots in the area include Mount Boucherie (moderate to hard) and Kalamoir Regional Park (easy to moderate).
Take a scenic walk down Kelowna’s waterfront boardwalk! Great views, fresh air, and lots of spots to stop and soak in the beauty. Located downtown in the heart of Kelowna, it’s the perfect place to wander, grab a drink, people watch, and enjoy the Kelowna vibes!
Think beach days, water parks, skateparks, tennis and basketball courts, food trucks, plus shops and restaurants just minutes away—there’s always something going on. It’s the perfect spot to pack a cooler, grab a beach chair, and hang out with family and friends! Located downtown right along Okanagan Lake.
If you haven’t been to Kalamalka Lake, it’s definitely worth checking out! The water is unreal. Bright blue and turquoise! There are lots of little beach areas along the lake where you can hang out. There’s also a bike path that runs around the entire lake and around Wood Lake. If you’re in the area and get hungry, Pane Vino Pizzeria is a hidden gem! Make sure you make a reservation because it get’s busy!
Red Bird Brewery is another one of our favourite spots! They have the most amazing Dill Pickle Pizza you'll ever try, plus a great patio and a fun, laid-back atmosphere! There are tons of other great Breweries close by!
One of our favourite coffee shops! Located on Lakeshore Road and downtown on Bernard Ave. A few others we’d recommend are Pulp Fiction (retro vibes), Komorebi Cafe (amazing authentic Japanese matcha), & Sprout Bread (fresh sourdough, delicious breakfast, always busy, never disappoints).
Great spot for a good recovery brunch! Another favourite breakfast spot that is so good we must mention it again, Sprout Bread!
Best ice cream ever!! So many GF & Vegan options which we love. Located on Lakeshore Road or downtown on Abbott Street.
