We said “I do”

Thank you so much for checking out our little wedding website. If you don’t already know our cute(ish) love story … here it is from Shaelyn’s point of view: We were set up by a mutual friend (thank you Jim Kettel) back in February of 2018. We dated casually on and off again until November 16th of 2019. I took Andrew to the NHRA drag races in Pomona, CA for a fun date thinking nothing of it besides “this will be a blast!” Andrew took the date a little more seriously considering it was an overnight date. About halfway through our day – Andrew basically tells me to “cut my sh*t and to stop playing games” and asked if we could date exclusively. Immediately I got butterflies and said “YEAH” while trying to hold back how excited I was. From that day forward, I was ready for our relationship to move as fast as those drag cars! I will save you the time and leave out all the boring details and cut to the chase. February of 2020 – Andrew invites me to Spring Training with his friends … Megan Easton told me how much Andrew liked me sooooooo I stuck around In Spring of 2021 – I was able to talk Andrew into moving in together (I had to know I liked living with the guy, ya know) In April of 2022 – We packed up our lives in San Diego and moved to Olathe, Colorado Our first big date in Colorado was the Durango Blues Train on August 26th of 2022 which is where Andrew asked me to marry him. Let the wedding planning begin! We decided to do a small intimate ceremony with our immediate family in our favorite mountain town of Ouray, Colorado. We hauled our loved ones up to an elevation of 11,230 feet in jeeps. Megan officiated our wedding, the dogs ruined my dress, and the day was beyond anything we could have ever imagined. Simply perfect. Andrew and I are so thankful to have all of your love and support going into our marriage and we can’t wait to share our lives with you.
