We're getting married!

Shae and Matt first met at Utica College, where they were introduced by a mutual friend during Shae’s freshman year and Matt’s sophomore year. From the very beginning, both Shae and Matt were drawn to each other's personality and their ability to make one another laugh—an impression that stuck with them long after their first encounter. Although they remained friends and crossed paths from time to time on campus, life had its own timing, and their story didn’t fully unfold just yet. It wasn’t until a few years later, when Shae moved to the Syracuse area, that things came full circle. Remembering that Matt was from the area, she decided to reach out to him and asked if he’d be willing to show her around. Matt happily agreed, and what started as a simple way to reconnect quickly turned into something much more. Spending time together felt easy and natural, and it didn’t take long for their friendship to grow into a meaningful relationship. What began as a chance meeting in college and a simple message years later became the start to their forever.
