Although we had gone to the same school and knew of each other, our hearts had never truly met. We were part of the same place, yet waiting for the right moment and the right timing. That moment began with a simple Snapchat add and a question that meant more than either of us realized: an invitation to Faith in the Fields, on her birthday. What seemed like a small yes became the beginning of everything. That night, surrounded by worship, music, and the presence of God, something unmistakable happened. We didn’t just meet we connected. In the middle of praise and prayer, our conversations came easily, our laughter felt natural, and our hearts opened without fear. By the end of the night, we both knew this was something special. We fell in love under the lights, the music, and the grace that filled the fields. Faith in the Fields will always be sacred to us — the place where God turned a simple invitation into a forever love.
