Please let us know if you can make it by April 12th. Because we need to provide final meal choices and seating counts to our vendors by a strict deadline, we may not be able to accommodate guests who RSVP after this date. We’d hate to miss you, so please be sure to head to the RSVP tab soon!
This is a formal event and we would love to see our friends and family dressed up with us! There will be a black tie optional dress code in place for the wedding. For women, this includes formal midi to full length dresses. For men, suits and tuxedos would be appropriate. Feel free to wear whatever color you like, but please no white/ivory/cream. Keep in mind that the weather in Chicago in early May is unpredictable, we recommend adding another layer as the ceremony/reception venue is outside (although protected).
Please arrive at least 20-30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to park and walk from the parking lot to the venue. The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm so plan to arrive by 5pm. Wedding guests can use our names to enter the Morton Arboretum earlier in the day if you'd like to explore the arboretum at no cost.
In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you receive a plus one they will appear when you RSVP, but if they are not on the list please notify the bride and groom.
Yes! Any children invited are listed on the invitation.
Typical early May weather in Illinois is between 50 to 70 degrees. Please dress accordingly to the weather.
Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! Please arrange transportation from the venue if you plan on drinking.
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. You are able to select your choice of meal when you RSVP.
If you would like to change your choice for dinner, feel free to either reach out directly to myself or Shady or go through the RSVP process again and you'll be able to re-select your meal option. Meal options will be locked on "APRIL 12TH" once RSVPs are due so please be sure to update prior to that date.
Yes! There is plenty of parking available at Morton Arboretum. There will be staff giving directions to the parking area. When using rideshare, please request the drop off location to be at "Firefly Pavilion" or else you will be dropped off at the visitor center.
The Korean wedding ceremony and reception will be indoors. Cocktail hour will be outdoors unless there's inclement weather.
