It’s Happening!

Upon joining the Navy, entering into a 7 month deployment and returning home in the Summer of 2017, Shadoe knew no one outside of the military in her new home of Jacksonville, FL. She decided she wanted civilian friendship to separate personal life from military and Alexis was the first person with whom she made a genuine connection. It all started with “Hey Alexis.” They went from chatting online, to exchanging numbers, to their first date, which was days before Alexis’ Birthday. Naturally, their date went perfectly. They both felt that they had always known each other. The longer they began to know each other, the more they became inseparable despite the distance. After officially becoming a long distance couple between Jax and Orlando, they became each others support system in every way. New Years Eve 2020, Shadoe decided that she would propose to Alexis for her birthday on Nov 6, 2020 and She Said Yes!
