We wish we could celebrate with all of you.

Our paths first crossed in college [GO TERPS], but our story began at a concert. We started texting the day after that show and what do you know, we've spoken every day since. That was 6 years ago! In the time since, we've traveled, cooked, driven across the country to find our current home in LA, and made Catalina the Cat the newest member of our little family. We got engaged in Sonoma's wine country in May 2019, but wedding planning did not start for quite a while after that as we both were finishing up graduate degrees. We worked through a couple false starts, a few mind changes, and several potential plans. Turns out, the delay in planning worked in our favor with the unfortunate onset of the coronavirus pandemic. So, after a 2+ year engagement we will finally be married in a small "micro wedding" near Shadia's hometown of Frederick, MD. For those of you who will be with us in person, it's an honor to have you. For those of you Lady Rona has vetoed*, we can't wait to celebrate with you in the future! You will be invited to a live stream to join the celebration virtually. *While we will miss the gift of your presence, we'll still very much appreciate your gifts and presents. ~See registry tab~
