Puerto Rico has two main airports: Rafael Hernández in Aguadilla (about 30 minutes from Rincón) and Luis Muñoz Marín in San Juan (about 2 hours away). While Aguadilla is closer, it has fewer flight and car rental options. We recommend flying into San Juan, spending a little time in Old San Juan, then renting a car for the scenic drive west. A rental car is the best way to get around, as there’s no public transportation or rideshare service in Rincón.
Where to Stay
Casa Islena, our wedding venue, is a charming boutique hotel with only a handful of rooms, so it will be reserved for the wedding party. The nearby Sandy Beach area has plenty of wonderful places to stay, including hotels, Airbnbs, and guesthouses. Since Rincón is a popular spot, we encourage booking early. We’ve included some recommendations below to make planning easier.
