Maid of Honor
Having my daughter as my Maid of Honor is one of the greatest blessings of my life. Not only is she my only daughter, but she is truly my very best friend. We do everything together, and some of my favorite memories in life have been the vacations, adventures, and everyday moments we’ve shared side by side. I love her more than life itself, and watching the amazing woman she has become fills my heart with so much pride. She has gone above and beyond as my Maid of Honor, and I honestly could not have asked for anyone more loving, supportive, thoughtful, and dedicated. She has handled every detail with so much care and has done such an incredible job through this entire journey. I am beyond grateful for her, for her heart, and for the bond we share. I cherish every moment we’ve had together, and I can’t wait for all the adventures and memories still to come.
Best Man
My brother has been someone I’ve looked up to my whole life, even if I didn’t always admit it. He’s given me advice through every stage of life, and honestly, I probably should’ve listened to him more often. When he joined the Marines, I had no choice but to follow after him even though I wanted to join the Air Force, couldn’t let him have that over me forever or talk shit for the rest of our lives. But truthfully, he’s always pushed me to be better just by being who he is. Through everything, he’s been one of the realest people in my life. I’m grateful for every lesson, every argument, every laugh, and every time he showed up for me without hesitation.
Groomsman
When I first met Amier at 18, let’s just say he was still trying to figure life out. No job, no direction, a little soft around the edges, and somehow even worse at basketball and gaming than I expected. But underneath all that, I saw a good kid with potential. So I pushed him to join the Army, and to his credit, he stepped up and did it without complaining. Since then, I’ve watched him grow into a stronger, more disciplined man with real goals and opportunities ahead of him. Now he’s stationed out in Georgia, and somehow he’s survived it without changing too much. Proud of the man he’s becoming, and even prouder to have him standing beside me today as my soon to be stepson and groomsman.
Bridesmaid
Ate Maricel has made me feel welcomed and loved as part of the family from the very beginning. She embraced me with so much kindness, warmth, and genuine care. I feel so lucky to have gained not just a sister-in-law, but someone who has become such an important part of my life. I’m so grateful to have her standing by my side on my wedding day and sharing in one of the most meaningful moments of my life. I look forward to spending many more years together making memories through family gatherings, holidays, travels, laughter, and all the little moments in between that make life so special.
Groomsman
I’ve known Rhonell since high school, and from day one I always had his back. What started as friendship turned into brotherhood, and through every stage of life, he’s stayed solid. We’ve both grown up a lot since those days. We’ve built families, gone through our own struggles, chased our own paths, and handled life in different ways. But no matter how much time passes or how busy life gets, our friendship has never changed. There’s something special about having someone who’s been there through every version of you, the reckless high school years, the hard lessons, the growth, and everything in between. I’m grateful that after all these years, we’re still just as close as we were back then.
Bridesmaid
Having my future daughter-in-law standing beside me on such a special day means more to me than words can express. From the moment I met her, she has shown our family nothing but love, kindness, and respect. She has been so wonderful to my son, and seeing the happiness they bring to each other fills my heart with so much joy and gratitude. She has truly become such an important part of our family, and I feel incredibly lucky to not only gain a daughter-in-law, but someone I genuinely love and cherish. I’m so happy that we get to share this beautiful moment and memory together. Watching our families grow and looking forward to all the years, celebrations, holidays, and adventures ahead with her and my son makes me so excited for the future. I’m beyond grateful for the love she brings into our lives, and I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side.
Groomsman
I met Joel back in 2003 in the Marines, and ever since then we’ve been through more together than most people could ever understand. From wild nights and bad decisions to combat and the kind of moments that change you forever, we’ve always stood side by side. No matter what life threw at us, we always had each other’s backs. That kind of loyalty is rare, and it’s something I’ll never take for granted. What means the most to me is that after all these years, we’re still the same brothers we were back then. Time, distance, families, and life never changed that. I’m grateful for every memory, every lesson, and every moment we made it through together.
Bridesmaid
Jamie and I have been friends ever since I met Jonell, and from the very beginning, she made me feel completely welcomed and loved. Over the years, we’ve shared so many memories together, especially through the many vacations we’ve been lucky enough to take together. She has such a warm and genuine heart, and her friendship has meant more to me than words can really express. I’m so grateful to have her standing beside me as a bridesmaid, because she’s an amazing friend.
Groomsman
I met Sean almost a decade ago when we went through the academy together. From the very beginning, we pushed each other, watched out for one another, and helped each other get through some of the toughest moments. Over time, that bond turned into a friendship where we became like brothers, and it’s stayed strong ever since. Over the years, we’ve gone from academy classmates to close friends, and now even neighbors. No matter what life brings, we always find time to show up for each other because that’s what brothers do. I had the honor of standing beside him during some of the most important moments of his life, and it means a lot to have him standing beside me during one of the most important moments of mine. Grateful for his friendship, loyalty, and the years of memories we’ve built together.
Groomsman
I’ve known Joe since 2001, back when we were both in the poolee program getting ready for boot camp. We spent a lot of time hanging out, pushing each other, and building a friendship that’s lasted through the years. No matter what life threw at us, we’ve always had each other’s backs. We’ve helped each other through some of our toughest times, and that bond never faded. We did lose track of each other for a while, but once we reconnected, we became even closer than before. He’s my brother, and I’ll always have his back, just like I know he’ll always have mine. Having him stand beside me as a groomsman means a lot because he’s been more than just a friend, he’s family.
Mother of the Groom
My mom is one of the greatest blessings in my life. She’s always been my steady support, my biggest encourager, and someone who’s loved me without condition. Through every stage of my life, she’s shown patience, strength, and a kind of love that never wavered. She’s never once complained about me, even when I probably gave her every reason to. Instead, she’s always met me with understanding and love, and I’m endlessly grateful for that. I truly couldn’t ask for a better mom. I love her more than I can put into words, and I’m so thankful she’s here to share this special day with me.
Father of the Bride
As my wedding day approaches, I find myself feeling especially grateful that my dad is here to share it with me. He’s been a steady presence in my life, someone who showed me patience, and what it means to keep showing up. We haven’t always said everything out loud, but his support has always been there in the ways that mattered most. Having him by my side on a day like this means more than I can really put into words. I’m thankful for him, for everything he’s done, and for simply being here with me on one of the biggest days of my life.
