You know they say that friends are the family we choose. Lucky for me, I didn't have to choose. Lexi and I may have become inseparable friends since we were fifteen and fourteen years old, but longer yet, we have been cousins our whole life. Lexi is someone who knows all my stories, good and bad, and not only because she's a good listener but because she lived them with me. Lexi has taught me the true meaning of friendship, loyalty, and kindness and I am so lucky to have her by my side on one of the most important days of my life.

Gwen and I initially met through work, and although we have only known each other a short couple of years, it didn't take long for me to get to know the wonderful person she is. Gwen is probably one of the sweetest, least judgmental, and friendliest people I have ever met. Gwen has a contagious warmth to her and I'm glad that her and her warmth will be standing next to me on my special day.

Sam and I got the pleasure of becoming friends through Taylor and her boyfriend, Alex by bonding over their acts of typical, boy foolishness. Sam, I soon found out, was someone who found her own way to have fun, who got along with everyone, and someone who could help me keep the boys in check. There has never been a dull moment with Sam and I am excited for her to bring her fun-spirit to the wedding as my bridesmaid!

Nick is not only my little brother, but my built-in best friend, someone who will always have my back, and often times… a very patient person who has tolerated my questionable ideas. I’ve seen the kind of man my brother is: kind, loyal, and selfless and I am proud to have that type of person stand by my side!
