Let me start by saying I don't think either of us expected something like this to take place. Both Shadé and I were unsure what the future would bring. So, like all of the cool kids do it nowadays, we turned to the online dating scene. After several days of messaging back and forth, the two of us finally scheduled a sushi date to meet each other for the first time. We definitely hit it off! In a matter of minutes we went from getting to know each other to conversations of throwing up all while eating hibachi and sushi (what a great combination). Such a rock solid first impression would surely mean a second date! With each date we grew closer to each other, often times with one of us driving miles away just to spend a few short hours with each other. Throughout our time together, we have developed such a strong bond and even more so strengthened each other. We use each other as platforms to become closer to God, and in turn our Faith draws us nearer. What a powerful thing it is to have found to each a soul capable of bringing so much joy in our lives that we are willing to set aside our flaws and accept our unconditional, unending love through the everlasting bond of marriage. Not only is it a privelege, but an honor to be positioned to express and spread our love in front of friends and family on February 22, 2020, a day that to us is the summation of all of the precious moments, growing pains, faith building, and goals for our future. And if you have made it this far, I would like to say that the Dallas Stars are lookin' pretty darn solid this year so don't count them out come playoff time. Also RIP Stephen Hillenburg, you will be forever missed. -Jacob
