Connie's Story: My friend Kim always talked about an uncle she lived with in Texas who moved to Maryland. I would often hear about him especially after Kim got married and decided to spend her one year anniversary in DC. Guess where Kim decided to stay, yep at Uncle Eric's house. Uncle Eric just happened to live 5 min away from me. Kim decided to be a match maker and gave us each other's Facebook information so we could check each other out. Of course, when Uncle Eric saw my pics he was all in, me, on the other hand, I didn't say too much. Once Kim and Mike made it to DC for their one year anniversary one of their first stops with Uncle Eric was to my job. A day or so later Kim's friend was having a get together and that's when Uncle Eric saw me outside of my work scrubs, from that day forward he knew he wanted this fine specimen of a woman and I could no longer call him Uncle Eric as he would respond "I'M NOT YOUR UNCLE". Eric's Story: There is a lot of truth in Connie’s “How We Met Story” but she left out some central details. Yes, my niece, Kim gave me Connie’s Facebook information. My first thought was “Wow, what a beautiful woman. I need to get to know her.” On September 27th Kim and Mike arrive in DC, I picked them up from the airport. Connie and Kim were talking on the phone. Connie asked if we could stop by her job so she can see Kim but she really wanted to check me out. On Saturday we met again at a house party. Connie was picking with me all evening; that’s when I knew she wanted me. The next day we met again at my brother Stanley's house to watch the football game. That evening we exchanged numbers and before I could make it home Connie called me; that’s when I knew she REALLY wanted me. We talked every day on the phone for a week. On October 8, Connie called me and asked, “If I wanted some company.” We have been together since that date.
