The Mehndi is a relaxed celebration where Shabrina gets her henna done, and guests can get small designs too. It’s a fun, colorful gathering that’s traditionally attended mostly by the women in the family and close friends.

The Jaggo is a lively Punjabi pre-wedding party filled with music, dancing, and celebration. It’s a fun, high-energy night where family and friends come together to enjoy the festivities and kick off the wedding week with a lot of joy.

The wedding ceremony, called the Anand Karaj, takes place in a Sikh temple (Gurdwara). It’s a peaceful, spiritual ceremony with hymns and prayers as the couple walks around the Guru Granth Sahib (holy scripture) to symbolize their marriage. Guests remove their shoes at the entrance and cover their heads inside with a scarf (typically women) or bandana (typically men).
