To formally kick off the weekend festivities and welcome you all to the celebrations. As you move into your Yurt and meet your beautiful venue and amenities, we will be around for support and provide light refreshments and appetizers.
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Haldi-attire: Yellow or Orange
A traditional pre-wedding ritual, the Haldi ceremony is when the bride and groom are anointed with turmeric paste for blessings, beauty, and to ward off evil spirits. Heads up, your dresses might get messy, so bring one you're okay with getting dirty! If you are not staying on-site you may want to bring a change of clothes!
6:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Indian Wear or Outdoor summer style
The Sangeet is an energetic and fun-filled celebration where both families come together to sing, dance, and celebrate the upcoming wedding. It is a fun dance party! You are welcome to wear any attire, whether Indian, garden, or cocktail. Please note that it will be outside on a dance floor, but there is grass. Dinner and drinks will be provided in addition to Henna! If you are wanting to wear an Indian attire, here's some ideas if you would like them: Women: A lenga style outfit, salwar kameez or any other style. Men: Salwar kameez or any other style.
3:45 pm - 5:45 pm
Indian Wedding Attire or Casual Wedding Attire
Please note this will be an outdoor wedding and dress accordingly (i.e. it will be on grass, we do not recommend heels). If you are interested in the pre-wedding ceremonies, they will start at 2:30PM. But you will not be late if you join at 3:45PM!
6:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Indian Attire or Casual Attire
The cocktail hour will start at 6PM, dinner around 7PM with speeches and then lots more dancing!
