FAQs

More details will be shared as we get closer to the wedding day - but if you have any other questions that were not answered here, please feel free to reach out!
Question

Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will take place at Cedar Oaks Farm, in Bedford, Virginia! https://cedaroaksfarm.com/visit

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. We recommend arriving 30 minutes early to park, find a seat, and get comfortable. :) Please keep traffic in mind when commuting!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up to celebrate! We are requesting semi-formal/cocktail attire for our wedding. Ladies, we are asking for tea-length, floor, maxi, or midi length dresses! No jeans, t-shirts, or flip flops please. Our bridal party will be in black, so we kindly ask guests to wear other colors!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love all of your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event. We hope you can use this as an opportunity for a fun night out!!

Question

Can I bring a date/guest?

Answer

If you've received a plus one, they will be addressed on your invitation and RSVP card. Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding an intimate event with close friends and family. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! Beer, wine, sangria, and nonalcoholic drinks are on us :)

Question

Where can I stay?

Answer

We are so grateful you are traveling to celebrate with us! If you visit our "travel" tab, you will find some hotel options in the area ranging in price points and distance from the venue!

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

If you can not make it, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" when you receive your formal invitation, so we can plan accordingly. We will miss you!!

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We are requesting an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras)! The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do"! So we kindly ask that you keep your phones silent and away during the ceremony. Once the ceremony has concluded, feel free to take any photos or videos you would like!
