Question

What is different about a Catholic wedding?

Answer

We will be celebrating our union within the fullness of the Catholic Mass, where marriage is a sacrament that reflects the divine love between Christ and the Church. We’ll provide a program to guide you through the Mass so you can feel present and included in each moment. Above all, your presence blesses us—and your support adds to the beauty of this deeply spiritual ceremony. Thank you for sharing in this sacred moment with us.

Question

I'm not Catholic - what do I do when it's time for communion?

Answer

The Eucharist is at the heart of the Catholic Mass—a sacred moment in which the bread and wine become the true Body and Blood of Christ. For this reason, only practicing Catholics may receive Communion—those who have made their First Communion, participate regularly, and are in a state of grace. If you do not fall into this category—as a non-Catholic, or a non-practicing Catholic—we warmly invite you to either come forward for a blessing, by crossing your arms across your chest, or remain quietly seated or kneeling at your pew. Regardless of your choice, your reverent presence is deeply meaningful to us. Thank you for celebrating our marriage with love and respect!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We adore all the little ones in our lives! However, our guest list is limited, so we’re only able to welcome children who are specifically named on your invitation. Thank you for understanding—we’re so glad you’ll be celebrating with us.

Question

Where can I find your registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. As we unite our lives and our homes, we've realized we have all the household items we need - and limited physical space to store it all. Instead of traditional gifts, we have set up a cash fund to help us create unforgettable memories on our honeymoon. Contributions are entirely optional and deeply appreciated!

Question

How do I RSVP? When is the deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by clicking on the "RSVP" tab on this website by February 2nd. Feel free to contact us if you run into any issues!

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

If your invite includes “and Guest,” then absolutely! Otherwise, just you—we can’t wait to celebrate together

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Formal attire requested — gentlemen in suits, and ladies in elegant midi or floor‑length dresses, or tailored jumpsuits. We kindly request that you avoid wearing green or purple — those colors have been assigned to very special people. Cowboy boots are not only allowed, but highly encouraged — we'll be rocking our own pairs so we can comfortably dance all night!

Question

What is the timeline of the day?

Answer

I'm glad you asked! Here's our Wedding Day Timeline: 1:30 PM – Our Nuptial Mass begins promptly. Please arrive between 12:45–1:15 PM to allow ample time for parking and finding a seat. The Mass will last approximately one hour. 2:30 PM – After the ceremony, you'll have enough time to return to your accommodations, freshen up, and get to the reception venue. We encourage everyone to be responsible and avoid drinking and driving. 4:00 PM – Enjoy a refreshing cocktail hour. This provides time to mingle and enjoy light snacks before the reception begins. 5:00 PM – The reception kicks off with our grand entrance, followed by a blessing and dinner. Please aim to arrive before 5:00 PM to join us in celebrating this special moment. 11:00 PM – As the reception concludes, we'll decide on a location for the afterparty. Stay tuned for details!

Question

What type of meal will be served?

Answer

We’re excited to offer a buffet-style dinner featuring a variety of dishes to satisfy diverse tastes. Our caterer will ensure that all options are clearly labeled to assist you in making informed choices.

Question

How can I let you know about my dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP. This will help us coordinate with our caterer to accommodate your needs. We aim to provide a safe and enjoyable dining experience for all our guests.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

In order to preserve the sacredness of our Nuptial Mass, we request that guests make sure their phones are on silent, and refrain from taking photographs during the ceremony. This allows everyone to be fully present in the moment and respects the sanctity of the Mass. We understand the desire to capture memories, and we have arranged for a professional photographer to document the ceremony. There will be ample opportunity for photos with the newlyweds at the reception. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us honor this sacred occasion!

Question

Can I take photos during the reception?

Answer

Absolutely! We encourage you to capture candid moments and fun memories throughout the evening. Please be mindful and avoid blocking the professional photographer's shots. They'll be capturing key moments, and we want to ensure their work isn't disrupted. Otherwise, feel free to share your photos with us later—we'd love to see the celebration through your eyes!
