Lauren and Troy connected early on through their shared love of exploring the world, Lauren through international travel and Troy through aviation. Just a few months after their first date, Troy invited Lauren to visit Tyler and Aitana in Spain, and she said yes. They spent ten days wandering Toledo, Segovia, and Madrid, throwing a brand-new relationship straight into adventure. It was the first of many trips to come, with Italy, Brazil, and Japan following close behind. Then, during a Seymour family trip to New York, Troy proposed in December 2024. On a dark and stormy night (okay — just very freezing) in Central Park at Belvedere Castle, Lauren said yes, and the rest is history.
