Messenger Coffee Co. + Ibis Bakery

Great neighborhood Breakfast and Lunch restaurant. Katie worked here after we first moved to KC while she went to Phlebotomy School and we still like to come by regularly.

You Say Tomato

Huge park near the plaza with a nice trail and lots of different facilities. Great area to walk around and enjoy the fall scenery should the weather decide to cooperate.

Jacob L. Loose Park

Kansas City's Premier Large Brewery. Their tours run every day and their beer hall is brand new and beautiful.

Boulevard Brewing Company

Authentic German Beer in an Authentic German Atmosphere. Their giant pretzel is one of our faves!

KC Bier Co

Lots of interesting little shops to check out(our favorite board game store is down here).

City Market

One of our favorite record stores, check out this place and the surrounding neighborhood of Westport whic was one of the first settled areas of KC.
