Commitment Ceremony

Meet us at the chapel... We'll be the ones getting ready to pour our hearts out.
Florence Hollis Hand Chapel is located at the NW corner of The George Washington University's Mount Vernon campus. While street parking is limited, the university's parking garage is free and just a few minutes' walk from the chapel. Ceremony begins promptly at 2:30pm. All are welcome.

The Potomac Water Taxi operates a direct route from the Georgetown waterfront to Old Town Alexandria. The taxi disembarks directly in front of our reception venue. This is by no means a required activity, but if you'd like to join, please grab a ticket and hop on! The route is the Georgetown-Old Town 45-minute monument tour and the direct reservation link is below. As Sean likes to say, "it's boating season." The only rule is this: wear what makes you feel sparkly inside. No tuxes needed, unless that's your thing, in which case, bust out that cummerbund, baby. Oh, and we love them lots, but small humans and dogs should sit this one out. 6:00pm - The night is young: Cocktail hour will take place on the patio at Blackwall Hitch. 7:00pm - We came to get down: Dinner and dancing! 11:00pm - Can't stop, won't stop: For those ambitious folks among us... you're welcome to keep the party going after the main event. Our venue is a restaurant and they will open up the cash bar at the end of our celebration until they close at 1:30am.

We'll be hanging out on the patio at Hotel Indigo (just down the street from Blackwall Hitch) with coffee and bagels. Please feel free to stop by for one last hug before you head out of town or set out for some afternoon sightseeing.
