Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are requesting guests dress in semi-formal attire.

Do I need to book a hotel right away?

Answer

Yes! Since the wedding is on a holiday weekend it will book out far in advance. We have reserved a hotel block at the Grass Valley Courtyard Suites. Please look at the “Travel” page for more details.

Question

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be outside on grass. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended. There is also an indoor area if any guests would like to relax indoors.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! We do not expect any gifts, but you are more than welcome to contribute to one of the funds on the "Registry" page.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The venue will be open at 3:30. Drinks will be available before the ceremony so you can have a drink before you take your seat.

Question

What time will the reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

Music must be turned off at 10pm. If anyone wants to continue the party, we will head to downtown Grass Valley after.

Question

Can I leave my car overnight at the venue if I am unable to drive?

Answer

Yes! You can leave the car in the parking lot, but it does need to be picked up the next morning.
