Caleb has known Gus for as long as he can remember. First meeting each other while swimming competitively in Fairfax, Virginia, Caleb and Gus have been the best of friends ever since. Gus is the Yin to Caleb's Yang. When Caleb starts to get a little out of control, Gus is always there to slow him down. There's no more reliable person in the world than Gus Mohay, the man will quite literally give you the shirt off his back. And he'll likely drive to you to make sure it's not too much of a hassle for you as he does it. There's never a dull moment when Caleb and Gus get together and there's no one Caleb would rather have beside him on one of the biggest days of his life.

Ethan has been a friend of Caleb's since his wildland fire days, both working on the same fire crew in Dolores, Colorado. Ever reliable and level-headed, Ethan tends to be the soft-spoken side to counteract Caleb's loudness, though he has been known to get a little crazy once that liquid courage starts flowing through his veins. While the two spent much of their early friendship battling Mother Nature, they can typically be found battling pixelated enemies on various video games these days.

Evan Rosenberg

Evan is Caleb's second-oldest friendship, but only by a few months. Caleb and Evan have known each other since their middle school days of playing out in the woods and learning that maybe not all girls have cooties. Evan is typically the level head in the friend group. When Gus and Caleb were up to their shenanigans, Evan could usually be relied upon to ensure things didn't get completely out of hand. While that responsibility has shifted as they've grown older, Evan still always keeps a cool head, without sacrificing any of the fun along the way.

Phil has been one of Caleb's best friends since they first met in Caleb's junior year of high school in Faribault, Minnesota. Phil is the kind of friend who drives thirty minutes to the airport at three in the morning to come pick you up because you've had a few too many drinks and your alter ego is convinced they've somehow flown back to Minnesota (not the proudest moment of my life). Whether it's making music or scouring the streets for long-lost mythological creatures, Phil is always down for a new adventure and you can always rely on him to have your back through thick and thin.
